Pizzelii Brick Oven Pizza in Cincinnati

Great pizza. Nothing can match crust from a brick oven. Would have given 5 stars, but on their fountain drinks all of the popular flavors were empty.

The pizza is really good. They have a few beers on tap, I had a Sam Adams 513, was great on a warm day. Food came out quick and hot, service was right on, can't ask for much more than that

pretty sure this place has closed or will be doing so in the very near future. The awning is down and the widows looked covered over the last 2 times I passed. Based on recent reviews I'm not exactly surprised they didn't survive their so called "renovations" .

Good brick oven pizza. They make their own dough and fresh mozzarella. A couple beers on tap. A few good salads. Food brought to tablet but table service for anything else. Very casual

Under new management. They changed the menu, and got rid of gluten free options. Will not be returning. Terrible service for a carry out order.

My favorite pizza place. They have the most amazing pizza, called the Cincy Goetta Pizza. Basically a breakfast on a pizza, but is great to eat for any meal of the day. The pizzas are sized for individual proportions, so each person gets to order their own pizza. Then you can trade slices with others in your group to try different pizzas.

Really great food for a pretty good price. Staff is always attentive and friendly, great atmosphere for teams and families.

Great pizza and salads but they always close earlier than there posted hours and if you go to there within 2 hours of closing time they make you feel like you need to rush to get finished

They changed everything from what it was. The new management thought it was a good idea to change the crust and sauce! It’s nasty waited 45min and my pizza was soggy and sooo many spices in the cheese in the sauce...not even eating it. What a waste of 7.50!

Under new ownership. Manager says they plan on getting a liquor license, expanding to burgers/pub menu. They plan on tying in to the bar next door. Pizza is greasy and more expensive. Goodbye old Pizzelii's I suppose.Too bad!Update:. Pizzelii's is now closed. 😕

Get the "Carni" well done. Or a salad. Excellent food, modern vibe

The owner refused to honor Groupons for two separate orders, saying that the fine print said one per party. The fine print said One per lesson, and said I could give one as a gift to someone else. We even offered to order separately and sit at different tables, but they refused. Even when they could not show me this fine print but I could show them where it says one per person they refused to honor it. They said I was not the only lesson who had tried tho use two Groupon for two separate orders and their owner and manager would not budge. They have lost a long time customer in me and I will be sure to let people know that were not customer friendly.

Cincy geotta pizza is the greatest thing I’ve ever put in my mouth! That being said, the rest of their pizzas are also very great!!!

We had 2 different pizzas and both were reasonably good. What was confusing from previous times at Pizzelii was the drink trough was empty and the only beers offered were 50W. Being inquisitive it was as suspected that 50W had acquired the business. Didn't make sense that why would you acquire an established pizza restaurant and provide no branding and limited beer selection but other than 1) trying to figure out what to do with the facility; based on dining at the 50W restaurant this is possible since that facility is poorly lite and laid out. Or 2) strip out the equipment and move it.Just like the restaurant across the street, disjointed and poorly thought out.

This is my favorite pizza place in one of my favorite parts of town Mariemont.The first place I ever seen a free style coke machine like 5 years ago. Very clean, lots of room. A great place to take in pizza before or after a bike ride convenient to the Little Miami bike trail and minutes away from Lunken airport.

Friendly staff. Great service. Small selection of local craft beer on 5 taps. Simple pizza. A little pricey. Casual seating. Great place to have a kids birthday party, or family outing. Not much of an adult ecperience.

Lovely little pizza joint! The pizza was good, the way you sit down and dine was excellent, and I love how the pizza is for 1 person on each plate. I got the Smoked BBQ chicken pizza and it was good, just wish it had actual pizza sauce on it and more cheese. I would recommend to a friend!

I highly recommend this if your in the mood for real Italian pizza...I lived in Sicily and this is the best I've had in the states!

Great pizza because of the brick oven taste. You will be stuffed when you leave. The crust is so good and fresh. Nobody was singing Disney tunes while I was there but if they did I would not care. The employee's were very pleasant and helpful. I will eat at pizzelii every time I am working in the area.

Wanted to eat there twice. Both times they were closed early. Today they are supposed to be closed at 9pm and it’s only 6:42pm.??? Not too good for business.

This place is amazing! Personal wood fired pizzas fill a hungry stomach with fresh ingredients and terrific flavors. I live on the opposite side of town, but sneak over just to eat this pizza! Don't worry, they have delicious salads for your "not so hungry" partner.

Changed pizza and it’s now average at best. Why would they fix something that wasn’t broken? New ownership? Probably won’t be back.

We were so excited to come back but that quickly faded upon walking in...under new owner who clearly decided to ruin everything great about what Pizzelli was. Started out by rejecting a valid coupon from a local coupon book, which is kind of sad. Pizza was average. They got rid of the BBQ chicken pizza which my family loved, Buffalo chicken pizza was run-of-the-mill when it used to be so good. If the new owners read this I hope they figure out how bring the old Pizzelli back... otherwise we will not be returning.

They tried to scam us. Because all of us were on one tab (around 50 of us), they sent out an extra cheese pizza with a bunch of people’s orders. There were over ten pizzas that no one ordered, most of the pizzas were burnt, and they were served very slowly. A bunch of people had to go talk to the staff to even get their pizzas made and afterward some of our people heard the staff complaining about us. What a shame that so many people had to wait to get their food because the staff were too busy making cheese pizzas to scam us with.

AMAZING!! I live over 30 min from here, but have brought many friends and family. I have tried all of the pizzas, salads and dessert at Pizzeliis. I have never been let down. By far, one of the best pizzas I have ever had..and I have enjoyed many pizza places throughout my life. My favorite is the meatball pizza since the meatballs are home aid. I still haven't worked my way up to breakfast pizza yet..but that is my next one to conquer. The crust is amazing and each pizza has its own robust flavors. A MUST VISIT if anywhere in Cincinnati. Well worth it!

What happened to Pizzelli's? Staff has always been great, but the pizza is suddenly terrible! My husband and I just stopped in tonight for the first time in a while, but we've been regulars for years, and now I can't imagine wanting to come back...it's totally different. So sad.

Great Fired pizzeria with several craft beers on tap and several more available in cans. Huge selection of toppings and professional service. Great for families and solo trips as well.

Good pizza and friendly staff. They only have one size pizza which is about a 12 inch by my estimation. Their wine list has a limited selection of quality wines and are a very good value.

Although we have enjoyed good pizza here before, tonight all 4 pizzas the five of us were sharing were not only burned completely black on the bottom, but also arrived cold and much later than people who ordered after us. Very disappointed.

My family and I love this place. It is brick oven pizza that is done in a very delicious way. Their signature pizzas are very good (I love the BBQ chicken), but if you don't see something you like, you can always make your own. What is unique about this place is that the pizza is bigger than a personal sized pizza, but not as big as a large pizza. So, it one pizza is perfect for 2 people or if you are really hungry, one can really stuff you.

we got scammed. we were having a cast party after strike for a high school show, and someone’s parents decided to pay for everyone. due to everyone being on one tab, they tried to scam us. with everyone’s order, they brought out a cheese pizza. there ended up being at least 10-15 pizzas that weren’t ordered. also, all of the pizza was burnt.

Sad to see how a change of management has crippled the service. Waited 45 minutes to get food.
